Please read before ordering to ensure you are aware of how your portrait will be produced.

Prices are listed on my prices page, but are usually quoted depending on exactly what you would like.

 

Photographs

Please send me your best photo of your animal but it must also be the highest quality image you have, send it to hknorman@hotmail.co.uk and we can discuss the options available.

Sizing

My standard size is A4, unless we discuss otherwise they will be roughly A4. Please do suggest a specific request for any portrait. As you can see from my Commissions gallery, I have produced many different variety's of portrait so I am happy to accommodate any size or style.

Time frame

I can on occasion work to very short timescales (minimum 10 days, with postage in mind also) but please try to allow longer as I do get booked up for specific dates and wouldn't want to disappoint you by saying I am unable to book you in.

How it is presented

On collection or delivery your portrait comes in a presentation box ready to be gifted or taken safely to the framers, set sizes can be requested but if they are bigger than A4 I will present them in a mount.

Materials

Using professional Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D’Ache Luminance and Pablo oil based pencil ranges I produce a realistic portrait from your photographs of your animal. I use Bristol Smooth 300gsm white paper but other surfaces and background colours are also available, as you can see from my Commissions gallery.

Postage

Uk delivery is £15 Special Delivery which is tracked and insured. I will let you know once its posted and takes 1-2 working days. International is less reliable, but I have never had longer than 2 weeks delivery time, international is at the customers risk as tracked but not insured and has extra costs for taxes, Paypal conversion charge and postage (Usually £54).

Framing 

The price only includes your portrait with a made to fit mount back card. For frame ideas which I can help organise and prices click on the Framing Prices page. Please note it costs £5 extra to post a framed piece.

Terms and Conditions

On ordering your portrait I will assume you are happy with the following. Once the deposit has been paid for booking you in it is non refundable unless I deem fair.

It is at your discrection whether you are happy with the portrait, I will not complete the work and deliver it until I know you are happy.
